Certified Instructors
Our instructors are all Certified Professional Coder®s (CPC®s) and most hold more than one other credential as well. We support our instructors who have a desire to teach. All of our instructors are approved PMCC eLearning instructors.
Real World Experience
Our instructors come from working in medical billing and coding environments. We share our experience so you can really know what will be expected of you on the job and on the national board exams. We are able to emphasize what is truly important and not waste time on things you won't ever need working in medical billing and coding.
Individualized Personal Coaching
Every eLearning student is assigned their own coach. The coach reviews all assignments, tests and postings. Students are encouraged to develop a personal relationship with their coach, and encouraged to ask any and all questions that they might have about the course or the material. Sending an e-mail to your coach is just like raising your hand in a classroom environment – your question is always answered and your coach never runs out of time. Our coaches are all professionals working in billing and coding and understand both the academic and real worlds of coding and reimbursement.
Convenient
Put your home PC to good use. You can get your assignments, post your homework, collaborate with other students, and take your quizzes and tests all online. And best of all you can listen to a real lecture via your computer speakers or headset. Couple that with learning tools developed in-house and you have the best and most convenient program on the market!
The student has an organized program of study utilizing the best training tools and books available in addition to access to real instructors to assist them throughout the entire course. Each student has their own personal live coach that they can send questions and interact with on a regular basis to make sure any misconceptions are cleared up and that they are keeping on track with their studies.
