ICD-10 On-Site Implementation Training (Provider)
Beginning in 2010, the AAPC will provide three-day, on-site, customized ICD-10-CM implementation training specifically designed for providers. This curriculum, conducted by ICD-10 experts, will lead you through your implementation process step-by-step to ensure your organization is fully prepared for the switch.
Three-Day On-Site Implementation Training
This course will cover implementation and guidance, featuring intensive training on organizing the implementation effort, developing cross-functional teams, budgeting, outcomes measurement, crosswalking and mapping, and compliance along with hands-on exercises using the ICD-10-CM code sets. The curriculum will also include an introduction to ICD-10-PCS beneficial for the facility coder. This will enable any organization to systematically and cleanly make the switch to ICD-10. Training will be conducted on-site by AAPC ICD-10 experts and will be customized for the individual organization. Templates and tools will be provided on a CD along with an implementation manual.
