ICD-10 Implementation Training (for Providers)

AAPC is now offering the most comprehensive ICD- 10 implementation training plan available.   We have developed several methods for training your entire office, giving each person the targeted training they need to be ready for ICD-10.

We offer three options for the core, comprehensive implementation training: an on-site, customized training; two-day bootcamps; and distance learning modules.  We also have supplemental training for physicians and coders. All are designed to offer the same basic training.

Why should I start now?

“Time has been given for proper implementation, and it is our duty to use that time wisely. Do not procrastinate; this change will affect almost every aspect of your practice or facility.” —Deborah Grider, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, CPC-P, CEMC, COBGC, CDERC, CCS-P

“The technical aspects alone would affect virtually every system providers and payers use, putting the effort on par with the effort required for Y2K.” —Robert E. Nolan Company report

“Allow enough time for the transition. The consensus is that two to three years is appropriate...” —RAND Corporation report

There's a lot more to ICD-10 implementation than just learning the new codes. ICD-10 will affect almost every part of your business: your computer system, vendor interactions, accounting, day-to-day operations and much more. These changes can’t happen overnight, and you’ll need to analyze, plan and prepare well in advance.
