Medical Coding National Conference
Our 15th national conference has now come to a close. We are pleased to announce that it was a great success. Over 2,100 attendees came to network with their colleagues and friends and be educated from the various presenters. For more information view our national conference press release.
We look forward to seeing more of our members at the upcoming Orlando national conference in 2008.

Networker
of the Year
Suzanne Quinton
Quinton owns Quinton Coding, a consulting firm, and founded the Tulsa, OK chapter. Her vision has grown the chapter from four members in 1996 to over 50 attendees at each meeting.
Quinton reminds coders to stay aware of the total office philosophy - don't get so focused on the coding process that you aren't familiar with how the whole practice operates.
"I love the fight between the carriers and the physicians. I have a strong stance with getting the physicians no more and no less than they deserve - just what's fair."
- Suzanne Quinton, CPC®
Coder
of the Year
LuAnn Jenkins
Jenkins has been certified in the medical field for 23 years, and has been certified since 1999. She started her billing company, MedTrust, LLC, five years ago.
Those who know Jenkins marvel at her ability to break down complex regulatory information and convey it to any audience.
"Anyone who really likes the business is someone who likes getting the answers, such as 'why wasn't this paid?' or 'what do the regulations say?'"
- LuAnn Jenkins, CPC®
Chapter
of the Year
Loma Linda, CA
Loma Linda demonstrated that local chapter success is anchored in the dedication and optimism of its chapter officers and members. In 2006, the dynamic chapter participants made time to mentor each other and enjoy a full schedule of events, while still fulfilling all necessary requirements.
We would like to thank Loma Linda for their upbeat attitude, flexibility and commitment as a local chapter. These attributes truly merit the honor of Chapter of the Year.
