Normally our office gives Leucovorin and Oxaliplatin concurrently. I have a question regarding the correct administration codes to use. We give concurrently for two hours:

Currently we bill: 96413 & 96415 ---chemo admin
J9263 Oxaliplatin
96368 ---non-chemo admin
J0640 Leucovorin

My question is can we also bill 96366 for the additional hour of non chemo administration since it is also given over a two hour period.

(these are in seperate bags)

Thank you for any help

If I am understanding your question correctly, the Oxaliplatin is given 2 hours and the Leucovorin concurrently for 2 hours, then it would be billed:

1 x 96413 Oxaliplatin
1 x 96415 Oxaliplatin - additional hour
1 x 96368 Leucovorin

Note- 96368 concurrent can only be for 1 unit irregardless of the time. Hope that helps.
