Good afternoon,

We have a new retina physician in our practice, he has advised cpt 92235 & 92134 are bundled, but I do locate this edit on MEDICARE FIRST COAST NCCI TOOLS nor on the CMS website.

Your assistance is appreciated.

Never read that anywhere before. I know 92250 and 92134 are mutually exclusive edits but not the OCT with an FA. No NCCI edits that I have seen either. I double checked the coading coach from the academy and they also don't say that.

Here's something I found:
OCT of the retina (92134) has been mutually exclusive with fundus photography (92250) since 2011, when CPT 92134 was implemented. It's important to note that FA (92235) and ICG angiography (92240) are not bundled with OCT.Oct 8, 2020

Unless they are doing an OCT Anfiography procedure, I'm not sure how the two would be bundled.
