Looking for clarification on the below scenario.
Pt seen for Observation between 8 hrs. but less than 24 hrs. I know on same date of service we would use 99234-99236 codes.
How would you code this situation if the patient's date of service rolled over to the next day? (3/21 @ 1420, discharged 3/22 @ 1300)
