If a patient visit hospital at 36 weeks gestation with premature rupture of membranes, then developed labor pain ended with delivery are we required to code both PROM and preterm labor with delivery ? Since “preterm” is inherent in the wording at O42.01– and O42.11– do we also have to code O60.– Preterm labor and delivery?
