Red face Vcodes on the ordering requisition for Labs

Can anyone advise me? If the doctor sends in a script that is pre marked "preop surgery testing requistion form" and does not list a preop diagnosis in the diagnosis field just the disorder. Can the biller bill a V72.xx as one of the diagnosis codes even if it is not specified on the req?
