Default Amputation - toe, nontraumatic

I'd like to hear (or see) your discussion on this. Let's get a discussion going.

88305?

88307 - dx osteomyelitis

Is an amputation, non traumatic an 88305 no matter the dx? Even osteomyelitis?

Thanks for your opinions.

Ok, good answer. What about under 88305 Fingers/toes, amputation, non-traumatic?

Does the dx matter for this CPT?
