PD modifier

Has anyone billing for anesthesia used modifier PD (non-diagnostic services that are related to the admission as well as any diagnostic test provided within the 3 day payment window rule)

I'm not sure if it applies to anesthesia doctors. All information i"ve found is a little grey in this area.
