Smile Chemoembolization patient status :confused:

Hi there--

Does anyone know if chemoembolization for hepatocelluar liver cancer done in interventional radiology is an inpatient only procedure? If we can bill it as outpatient we are planning on using 37204/75894. thoughts?

our cases are usually done as short stay cases. They're not IP only cases that i'm aware of.
