I just started coding for an ASC that does GI, What codes should I use for a MC pt that was seen for screening colonoscopy but a worm was found and removed. I'm thinking of foreign body removal but now the problem would be my DX. Do I code the reason of the colonscopy - screening and 129 (parasite) as secondary or should I document findings only since the removal was done?????
