Ohio medicaid carrier codes
Hello fellow coders
Was hoping someone would beable to help me out.. i am working on medicaid secondaries and submitting them thru the MITS portal. They are asking for the carrier code?? i have researched this and keep coming up with different answers. Any thoughts/ideas would be great! spoke to medicaid and they said it was the payer id numbers?? thanks again, Last edited by ohiocoder101; 07-22-2012 at 06:13 PM.

We put in the primary payers electronic ID from our clearing house (the payer ID we use to submit claims to the primary.). So far we have not had any problems by doing that.
