Default Lap Procedures

MD removed left ovary & fallopian tube laparoscopically for increasing left sided pain. Also noted was a white scarred area deep in the cul-de-sac above the rectum which was possibly consistent with old endometriosis or scar. The peritoneal scar was excised & sent to pathology. This was coded as 58661 for the lap LSO, and 58662 for excision of the peritoneal scar. 58661 is being denied as incidental. CCI edits do not bundle these procedures and I thought since different areas were involved, it was appropriate to bill both. Am I incorrect?

TIA,
C. Wright
