Default Chief complaint

Question - CC is not required for 90806, is it? I didn't think so, but my provider asked so I thought I'd cover myself...

It's my understanding that only E/M codes require a chief complaint. It's never a bad thing to include and I would make sure it's documented on the encounters for psychotherapy with medical evaluation and management services like 90807.
