Question Revision Total elbow

Patient is having a revision of the total elbow.
I know it is 24363 and 24160 (removal of implant)

My question is, the surgeon states he may be doing a bone graft.
Would that be inclusive to the procedure ?

My guess is that you probably will be able to bill for it, but I think it best to wait for the documentation to see what type of graft it is, choose a CPT, then look at the CCI edits to make sure you can.

Thank you for answering.

I asked because our surgery schedulers will call me for codes so they can get auths
and surgery deposits. I try to give them the best info I can ( given that I don't have
documentation ) so that they can be as accurate with their responsibilities as they can be.
Once the surgery is done and I receive the documentation, I then code from the operative
report. But she left me curious about whether or not a graft could be charged separately as I have not seen any literature or documentation regarding a revision of a total elbow.
