CPC vs. CCS
Other than the CPC being an AAPC credential and CCS being an AHIMA credential what's the difference between the two? What would be the deciding factor in a person seeking to become credentialized in choosing one or the other? Curious. Thanks!

CCS concentrates on inpatient coding. CCS-P is physician based. CPC is physician based, and CPC-H is hospital outpatient focused.
