confused about an indicator?

Status Indicator G reads "pass-Through Drugs,etc and is paid under OPPS and APC....and Status Indicator K is "non" pass-Through Drugs, etc. and also paid under OPPS & apc?

So, both pass through drugs & non-pass through drugs are payable? What's the difference? I'm confused, thanks!
