Check out AHIMA, they are more for the inpatient/facility side. CCS is usually the preferred credential for the inpatient side.

There is no such thing as a certified inpatient coder. Even the CCS tests on facility outpatient. I'm unaware of any coding exam or credential that rests solely on inpatient.

If you are talking about coding facility inpatient charges, yes there is a certification for that. Check out AHIMA, and the RHIT (registered health information technologists)
