Default 76942 - Ultrasonic Guidance

Does anyone know whether or not you can bill two 76942-26 on the same day, same session, different physicians, same group? And if so, what modifier would be use to separate the two procedures so they do not reject as a duplicate?

Thanks for any advice.

Yes, you can use 76942 26 twice just use the 59 modifier to show a distinct & different procedure. You can also use the 77 modifier, showing it was performed by a different Dr.

Does anyone know if an anesthesiologist can bill for th U/S guidance in an ASC setting? We currently bill for the professional component with modifier 26 at the hospital. Somebody had told me they didn't think we could at the ASC. Thanks!!
