Default Double Bundle Acl

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A SEPERATE CODE FOR THE DOUBLE BUNDLE ACL? WHICH WOULD BE APPROPRIATE THE UNLISTED OR THE 29888?

I've never heard of this, can you post the op note (de-sensitized of course)?

It's actually a technique. I unfortunately do not know much about it, so the operative would help.

I would normally say use a -22 modifier, but code 29888 includes nearly all of the grafting techniques.

Unless the physician clearly documents that he had to do work above and beyond the call of a standard ACL reconstruction (the double bundle took additional time, additional exposure, etc...), then you would still stick with 29888 by itself.
