Default Treating Patients Outside of the

Hi everyone, I just had a question come up from one of our physicians and wasn't sure where to go. He is attending hockey games for both our local high school teams and a local NAHL Junior A Team . At the games, he is often performing medical services, mostly laceration repairs. He wants to know how we can bill for this. I had assumed this was something he should be paid for by the school or the hockey team, but he states he is not. Any ideas if we can bill for these services, and if so, how?? Thanks for any help!

When a child plays in a sport are they not covered by the schools insurance? I figured it would be paid by the school???? I am assuming they have asked him to be there for needed medical attention so I would say the school is responsible. Just my thoughts.
