Job Title: Professional Medical Biller
Department: Medical Billing Supervisor: CFO Description: Medical billing company seeking experienced biller/coder. Candidate should possess and demonstrate strong medical coding, billing, accounting, and compliance knowledge and skills in various specialties. Candidate must understand and apply coding, billing, and compliance regulations when appropriate, and on own initiative. Responsible for all aspects of the medical billing cycle including data entry, coding, claims filing, denials management, patient billing and collections, and detailed financial reporting for each assigned billing account. Reviews and reports trends in information regarding physician compliance with coding and documentation guidelines. Monitors reports for utilization of Free Text diagnoses, missing charges, and denials. Ideal candidate will have experience in billing primary care and specialty physicians.
