Default Breast Cancer Modifier

Is there a modifier that would be to used in a situation where a patient is diagnosis with breast cancer on the left side 174.1 and then later a new breast cancer diagnosis on the right side which is 174.2?
Thanks for any help!!

no modifiers for diagnosis the code is working that for you, once they have breast cancer in multiple sites we usually deferred to 174.9 for the treatment. For the excisions and radiation therapy it is usually better to use the more specific location codes then you can use the LT and RT modifiers on you excision and treatment codes.
