ICD-CODE " Neuralgia due to fracture
I am struggling with coding this information. Please help
The dr gave diagnosis as " neuralgia secondary to t-spine fracture" Help me brainstorm

Ok how about neuralgia - 729.2 (unless there is more specifi info)
and late effect of fx of spine - 905.1

I disagree, how do you know that the fracture is not current?

good point , however if the fx were current then they would not be treating the neuralgia? My physician says that would not be an issues in the immediate fx stage.

Possibly yes, we were not given the sum total of the documentation, but I agree if you cannot tell then query for clarification.
