Position Description:

Candidate should possess and demonstrate strong medical coding, billing, accounting, and compliance knowledge and skills in various specialties. Candidate must understand and apply coding, billing, and compliance regulations when appropriate, and on own initiative. Responsible for all aspects of the medical billing cycle including data entry, coding, claims filing, denials management, patient billing and collections, and detailed financial reporting for each assigned billing account. Reviews and reports trends in information regarding physician compliance with coding and documentation guidelines. Monitors reports for utilization of Free Text diagnoses, missing charges, and denials. This position also requires excellent communication skills and problem-solving attitude. Ideal candidate will have experience in billing primary care and specialty physicians.

Qualifications:
Must be willing to re-locate to the Valdosta,GA area
Minimum 2 years of billing/accounts receivable experience in healthcare and/or CPC certification (or currently pursuing) are required
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with billing software
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong internet research and computer skills

Wage Range: Negotiable, DOE.
