Anyone have any idea correct way to code for intra-op consults w/medicare

Default 99499 - Unlisted E/M

Because you cannot query the patient re history, and cannot perform a full exam, really you can't meet the standards for any of the consultations or initial hospital visit codes.

Your best bet is to use the 99499, Unlisted E/M.
