Question billing PAS/AB cocktail 88312+88313?

Can a pathologist charge for both the technical and professional when he performs a PAS/AB cocktail and documents the reasons for both?

Document not only the reasons, to justify medical necessity, but the results to justify the pro charge. If you did it, report it in writing and in code.

Cheers,

Lightbulb Technical charge?

What about the technical charge? Is it still okay to charge both codes on the technical side, even though its considered one stain?

Two techs equal two pros and vice versa.
