Spine- Corpectomy w/out decompression
Our doc has performed a corpectomy, T8, (trans thoracic approach) on a patient who had a previous surgery 3 years ago, and during the corpectomy did not perform a usual accompanying decompression during the procedure.
The code 63085 would be appropriate in this case except the description does include a decompression. I can't find another code that meets this description.  Does anyone know of a code w/out decompression or would I use 63085 w/ modifier -52?
