Default HELP!! Computer Assisted Arthroplasty

My docs are using a "MAKO" robotic assist system for their total hip arthroplasties and unicompartmental knees. With this system, the patient gets pre-op CT scans which are fed into a computer and those images combined with strategically placed sensors on anatomical sites and/or OR instrumentation, the cuts are made and implants are very precisely placed and inserted.
They tell me that they are OK with 20985 since most everyone else does it. However, I think that code 0055T is the better choice. I do not wish to upset them, but I do want to do what's right. HELP!

Our clinic decided that 20985 was NOT appropriate. We use S2900 for tracking purposes, i.e. 27447 and S2900.

Hope that helps....this is relatively new so there isn't a whole lot of documentation out there on the subject.
