examination of an AICD
Hello everyone, I am new to coding cardiology and hope someone can help me on this, my Dr. has a procedure note and it says Explantation of pacemaker generator to check the leads in view of possible oversensing of the leads.
The generator was explanted, and the leads were then disconnected and individually checked, the battery voltage was within the normal range subsequently as the leads were tested without any defect and integrity of the insulation was checked , the leads connecting to the generator were checked, all normal so they were all reconnected and put back in to the pocket and the pocket was sutured in layers closed..any and all help would be appreciated..alice
