Responsible for management of coding, charge entry and claims transmission processing for multi-specialty practices. Educates staff regarding documentation requirements related to coding and charging to comply with state/federal regulatory requirements as well as carrier specific guidelines. Provides leadership to assigned staff and supports staff as information and training resource.


Job Requirements

� High school graduate or equivalent.

� CPC certification required.

� Five (5) years direct experience working in a physician�s office, ASC, rural or hospital preferred


Additional Details

� Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

� Organizational and problem solving skills.

� Ability to assume and learn functional responsibility of position within three (3) months.

� Knowledge of insurance and third party payor requirements.

� Data entry proficient.

� Strong computer skills in Excel and Word documents.

� Ability to plan, create and analyze reports, identify and determine root causes.
