Default Question concerning using modifier LT/RT

My provider does vnus ablation on his patients. Medicaid doesn't allow the use of modifier LT or RT to indicate which leg was done. Can any one give any advice on this matter. This Georgia Medicaid.

Thanks

I would check with Georgia Medicaid and ask them how they want to service to be reported. You might also try posting this in a general surgery forum since this is OB/Gyn and not a usual procedure for this specialty.
