Default Colonoscopy Screen

I am reviewing path reports in our lab. Can you tell me if you we should use G-code for colonocscopy screening for Medicare patients, like you use a G-code for a screening PAP for Medicare patients. Thank you

Do you work in a pathology lab? If so, you should not use the G-codes for the colonoscopy screening for Medicare because the lab is not actually performing the screening. When a colonoscopy specimen is sent for pathology it becomes an 'medical concern' rather than a 'screening'. I hope this helps.
