Default Billing 99211 for school based health centers

I am new to billing for school based health centers and I have some questions on the guidelines. We are a FQHC and we have three SBHC locations. We have a FNP who does the visits as well as an RN. They do things ranging from well child checks, immunizations, to being treated for a simple headache. I was wondering if anyone has knowledge of school based health centers and if it is possible to bill a 99211 for the nursing visits. They have a CC , vitals and then they usually administer OTC meds , call home , ect. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Default Fqhc-sbhc

I'm in the same situation, new to a position and the billing coordinator is not sure of the guidelines of SBHC/FQHC and I feel ethically things are not being billed correctly and have expressed that but need more support. If you would like to bounce questions/answers with me let me know I would be gladly to further learn and expand my knowledge as well. shandam@cdhcmedical.com
