Overview:

This webinar will review actual operative reports of common orthopedic procedures as well as some more complicated cases of the upper and lower extremities to discuss the appropriate coding for each example. We will take apart each case and look at what is important for proper coding and give tips on orthopedic coding.

Coders will benefit from this event whether or not they have experience in orthopedic surgery coding because we review each case in detail to point out what is needed to code appropriately.

Lynn is the Senior Director of Coding Compliance and Education for Healthcare Information Services, a physician's billing service. She has 28 years of experience in all areas of the physician practice. Lynn has been a presenter for AAPC at national conferences, workshops, audio conferences, and webinars.
