Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery

Overview:

Join us as we take a look at the Anatomy & Terminology of Plastic/Reconstructive surgery. We will be concentrating on the facial reconstructions and breast reconstructions and the proper way to code these exciting procedures.

You Will Learn:

• A solid understanding of the new soft tissue excision codes
• A solid understanding of the proper way to code facial reconstruction surgeries
• A solid understanding of the different type of breast reconstruction surgeries
• A solid understanding of the proper diagnostic codes needed for proper claim submission

About The Presenter

Susan Ward, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, CEMC, CPCD, CPRC

Susan has 20 years of coding and billing experience. She currently works for a reconstructive plastic surgeon in Phoenix. She is an approved PMCC instructor, AAPC workshop presenter, past president of her local AAPC chapter, and was a member of the 2007-2009 AAPC National Advisory Board.
