Radiation Oncology

Overview:

This presentation will cover IMRT, IGRT and Brachytherapy billing and coding. We will discuss the differences in LDR and HDR billing as well as the Surgical CPT codes appropriate for billing with Brachytherapy. On the IMRT and IGRT side, we will cover new codes for 2010 and new guidelines for existing codes.

This presentation will give the beginner coder an understanding of the coding mechanisms for the specialty, and will give the advanced coder an update of changes to this specialty for 2010.
