About The Presenter
Director of Auditing Services – AAPC Physician Services
Peggy has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, which includes coding and billing in multiple specialties including General Practice, General Surgery, Neurology, OB-Gyn, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Her tenure includes 13 years as practice manager of a University facility before joining AAPC in 2010.
Peggy earned her CPC® in 2000 and became a certified AAPC instructor, CPC-I, in 2008. Peggy is also a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) and holds two specialty credentials, both in OB-Gyn services. Peggy is a national speaker and has presented for Coding Institute, Ingenix, and Medical Business Institute as well as for AAPC’s national conferences, workshops, and webinars, and has authored articles on coding, billing, and practice management issues. Peggy has served as President and Membership Officer of her local chapter.
