CMS Cautions Health Care Providers to Contact Clearinghouses
CMS issued an alert on July 19, announcing that some clearinghouses are stripping practitioners' NPIs from their Medicare claims, thus leaving the claims ineligible for Physicial Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) participation.
