CPMA® Preparation Class
AAPC has partnered with the
National Alliance of Medical Auditing Specialists (NAMAS) to provide
CPMA® Exam preparation.
These two-day classes are presented by expert instructors and will teach you how
to analyze medical chart documentation and fully prepare you for the certification
exam. You will learn how proactively auditing charts will maintain compliance, minimize
incorrect coding and reduce documentation and reimbursement errors. You will also
learn documentation guidelines for all types and levels of services as they relate
to outpatient and inpatient physician-based coding/billing, statistical sampling
methodologies and risk analysis; and you will learn how each of these areas influence
your practice and specialty.
The goal is for you to be able to pick up any chart, be familiar enough with the
chart's structure to know how to proceed, and have confidence in your findings.
After completing the class and passing the exam, you will receive the
Certified Professional Medical Auditor® (CPMA®)
credential along with the
National Alliance of Medical Auditing Specialists® (NAMAS) certificate.
