By 2015 all health care professionals need to have an electronic medial records (EMR) system in place to avoid reimbursement cuts. Dixon Davis, vice president of business development for AAPC Physician Services, was recently featured in Medical Office Today talking about the EMR issue and what practices can do now to prepare. “Early adoption of an EMR can marketed to patients, showing (them) the provider is ahead of the regulatory curve,” said Davis.

    I hurd from some of the students that took the test at the library in fresno, that the chair where not straight, incline to the front and people with back problems had to take the exam that way, i am willing to pay up to 100 dollars for a sit that will allowed me to put my arms on the table and the books on each side of me, one of the students is 84 years old and iam 70 both old but not death yet and have a lot to offer, this note is to make aware if such accomodation is possible our exam is in june 4th could you accomodate us norma canosa rn

    Norma, you shouldn’t have to pay for a better sit, to take your test. I would ask them if they had a different seat you can use. Most people understand and are helpful.
