Medical Office Today: Does EMR Make Your Practice More Marketable?
By 2015 all health care professionals need to have an electronic medial records (EMR) system in place to avoid reimbursement cuts. Dixon Davis, vice president of business development for AAPC Physician Services, was recently featured in Medical Office Today talking about the EMR issue and what practices can do now to prepare. “Early adoption of an EMR can marketed to patients, showing (them) the provider is ahead of the regulatory curve,” said Davis.
