Just Coding: Clear up lab coding confusion
AAPC ICD-10 trainer Corrie Alvarez, CPC, CPC-I, CEDC, had her 2011 AAPC National Conference presentation highlighted in HC Pro/Just Coding recently. “If the lab didn’t perform all of the tests that make up a specific CPT® panel, you can’t code for that panel,” she says.
