Delaware Online: Fast-growing health care job translates treatment
Medical coding keeps a practice healthy. That’s the gist of a recent article about the profession featuring AAPC Director of Education Raemarie Jimenez,CPC, CPC-I, CANPC, CRHC. “Doctors don’t want to do it wrong,” said Jimenez. “If they have a coder looking at their documents, providing feedback, that’s helpful for a physician. Let’s face it — doctors went to school to treat patients, not to learn how to code.”
