Networking Tip (October)

You don’t need to know the most people, just the right people. Passing along a business card to everyone you meet and sending emails to every contact person you find online won’t do you nearly as much good as focusing on finding people that are relevant to you. It’s much better to have one person who really knows you and is willing to help than to have 100 people who heard your name once. Re-evaluate your networking contacts from time to time and be sure to focus your efforts on keeping in touch with those individuals who share similar interests.
