Radiology Today:A Look at Coding in the Year Ahead
“Get ready for some administrative upheaval as coding changes abound in 2012,” says AAPC CEU Vendor Department Manager Shelly Cronin, CPC, CPMA, CANPC, CGSC, CGIC in the most recent issue of Radiology Today magazine. “Not only do radiology providers have ICD-10 to prepare for in 2013, but they also have several code changes that will affect reimbursement this year.”
She added that some of the bigger changes professionals can keep an eye out for is the continuation of combining codes, which started in 2010. She also highlights several elements of what’s new for Radiology professionals.
