CMS annnounced a delay in ICD-10. The annnouncement said it could be 2 more years or longer. The delay is due to the 5010 compliance problems and penalties to physicians. I believe this is the right thing to do. After all, the physicians are being hit hard with pay cuts and penalities, adding ICD-10 would be an even more burden.

Why is AAPC pushing the ICD-10?
