Physician’s Practice: Monitoring Health Reform Change at Your Medical Practice
Staying current is always a hot topic in health care circles. We must stay current with our education, trends, and technology, just to name a few. In a recent article for Physician’s Practice, AAPC was mentioned as way for health care staffers to stay current on coding issues.
“Delegate to your staff. Your billing and coding department, for example, can follow the AAPC news thread for pertinent changes to diagnostic coding,” wrote Shelly Schwartz. “Your physicians can participate in CMS “Open Door Forums,” which are conference calls that allow them to talk directly with senior policy staff about payment policies, provider compliance, and other issues related to your practice.”
