The Hospitalist: Still No Date Set for ICD-10
As we await the official date of the ICD-10 implementation many experts in the industry are speculating when the announcement will official come. AAPC ICD-10 trainer Brenda Edwards, CPC, CPMA was one such expert interviewed for an article in the The Hospitalist.
“The thing that’s worrisome, though, is people think this delay we have encountered is a time to sit back and do nothing, but really we’re almost burning money by not doing anything,” stated Edwards in the article. “Everyone at this point should still be moving forward.”
